New York City has no shortage of creative and vibrant cultural experiences. This summer don’t miss the spectacular line up of events taking place from June 11th through August 9th as part of Lincoln Center’s “Summer for the City.” The 2025 schedule has hundreds of free and optional “choose what you pay” events and performances. Latin culture will be on full display during Brazil week from July 16-20. Over the course of five celebratory days, Lincoln Center will showcase some of Brazil’s most vibrant art and cultural traditions via a series of scheduled programs and events. Interactive activities, food and several star studded Brazilian concerts are all part of the schedule and open to the public.

A few highlights include:
- Dance story time with Ingrid Silva
- Musical stars such as seven-time Grammy award winning singer and songwriter Lenine, singer and songwriter superstar Litiker, Brazilian band Os Mutantes.
- Rhoda De Choro led by a Brazilian chorale and samba ensemble Regional Samauma (for Lincoln Center’s first ever Rhoda de Choro).
- DJ Daniel Costa (renowned for dynamic Baile Funk)
- Brazilian DJ Mari Mac Dowell will be spinning tunes on one of New York City’s largest outdoor dance floors.
The list goes on and on — along with several unique partnerships. In collaboration with Brasil Summerfest, Gafieira Rio Miami ensemble will also be there for those wishing to learn the basics of samba de gafieira, a unique Brazilian dance style.

Diverse culinary arts will also feature prominently at the event. Food trucks will be nearby and open an hour before showtime. Mission Ceviche is scheduled to be at Damrosch Park on Thursday July 10 from 7 PM through 10 PM. Brazilian cuisine by Berimbau Brazilian kitchen will be available on Wednesday July 16th through Saturday, July 19th from 7 to 10 PM. Festival food trucks are presented by Chase in collaboration with The Infatuation.
