Who doesn’t love a great party? If you do, check out our list. If you don’t, we hope you get a life soon. We’re not going to list them in order but here are a few of the many venues that made our list of great NYE parties in NYC:
Topping the list are the parties with a view of the famous Times Square ball drop. While others gather outside in the freezing cold, you can stay warm inside and enjoy the view. Venues with a ball drop view include: Bar 54 at Hyatt Times Square where guests can experience the world famous Ball Drop Live from the NYC’s tallest Rooftop lounge located on the 54th floor of the Hyatt Times Square. Bar 54’s New Year’s Eve Gala is one of the few venues with direct views of the Ball Drop and includes appetizers and an open bar. Other venues with a ball drop view include Novotel New York Times Square, AMC 42nd Street Times Square, and Madame Tussauds Times Square, amongst others.
Maybe you’re not interested in watching the ball drop live? Interested in doing something a little different? Check out the masquerade party at Sleep No More’s The King’s Winter Masquerade at The McKittrick Hotel, Queen of the Night at the Paramount Hotel, or Winter Wonderland 2015 at The Box.
If you are into beautiful spaces and architecture, several parties made the list, including Cipriani 42nd Street, Gustavinos, Capitale and Gotham Hall.
Or maybe you just want to relax and enjoy some great food at a well-known New York restaurant? There is the famous 21 Club, and critically acclaimed Jean-Georges restaurant, as well as many others (OpenTable.com has a NYE party list with prices, popularity level and ratings).
Don’t feeling like making a reservation? Be spontaneous and check out some of NYC’s great food trucks.
Love being on the water? There is the Circle Line NYE cruise and party, Bateaux New Year’s Eve Fireworks Dinner Cruise, or the New York Water Taxi’s Family Cruise.
Enjoy dancing and the club scene? There are so many nightclubs in NYC and trends are constantly changing but PH-D Rooftop Lounge at Dream Downtown is a great spot. Also check out Marquee NYC, 1 Oak, as well as the many venues at Clubzone.com.
Finally, New York city has a NYE venue to suit practically anyone– including NYE parties for children and families, Comedy (at Carolines), Pizza lovers (at Artichoke Basille’s NYE party), etc. And for those seeking parties with a Spanish theme, there’s always the famous Copacabana and Havana Central Times Square New Years Eve.
