NYE Parties in New York City

January 3, 2014

Where were the best places to party for New Years in NYC? The votes are in. The top venues included (but not limited to):

1. The Diamond Horseshoe at the Paramount Hotel. The newly opened Diamond Horseshoe is definitely a place to see and be seen. The space itself is super cool, the bartenders are cute and the ambiance unique. The only drawback? No view of the ball.

2. The hotels surrounding Times Square. Many of these feature views of the festivities and top quality food and drinks. The only drawback? The price. The best way to do this is to get a group of people together and rent a hotel room but start looking now because good rooms go fast.

3. Hotels away from Times Square. The Standard Hotel has great food and ambiance. It also has a great view. Tribeca Grand and Soho Grand are also known for having unique New Year’s Eve parties.

4. The nightclub scene. This year, Tao Downtown was a top pick. Other great venues include the VIP room, Lavo, Dream Downtown, No.8 and many others.
